I’ve always been someone who feels deeply, and that sensitivity sparked my curiosity about human behaviour and emotions. Over time, it grew into a calling, leading me to become a Registered Clinical Counsellor. My work is grounded in compassion, curiosity, and the belief that healing begins with being truly understood.

Avneet is a counsellor dedicated to supporting teens and young adults, with a focus on minority, newcomer, and Indigenous communities. She provides compassionate care for those navigating grief and loss, depression, trauma, and intergenerational trauma, creating a safe space for healing and empowerment.

I have a particular passion for working with youth and neurodivergent individuals, understanding the unique challenges and strengths they bring, as I navigate my own neurodivergence. Collectively these parts make me who I am and keep me grounded in the culture I was brought up in and how vastly different it can be in supporting people across the globe!
