About
Trisha
I’m a Registered Clinical Counsellor and I created Narra Counselling & Consulting from a deep desire to help others heal. My path began at the University of Toronto, where I studied Psychology and worked on research in addiction and brain injury. Listening to stories of resilience and hardship during those years shaped my understanding of mental health in a powerful way. Motivated by what I witnessed, I went on to earn a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology with a clear goal: to create a practice rooted in empathy, cultural responsiveness, and deep respect for the human journey. As an immigrant and someone who has lived through major life transitions, I understand how layered and complex healing can be. These experiences allow me to approach my work with humility, care, and a belief that everyone deserves support that honours who they are. Just like the Narra tree, known for its strength and grounding roots, I hope to offer a steady and nurturing presence in your journey. It’s a privilege to do this work and I look forward to supporting you.
Here for You
Life can feel overwhelming, especially when you’re navigating stress, self-doubt, or emotions that seem too heavy to carry alone. My role is to walk alongside you as you begin to make sense of it all. In our work together, we’ll explore your thoughts, emotions, and patterns in a space that feels safe and supportive. I’ll help you uncover the strengths you already possess and develop coping strategies that align with your values and lived experience. Whether you’re seeking relief, clarity, or a deeper connection to yourself, we’ll move at your pace together. Counselling offers you the opportunity to reflect, gain awareness, and change the way you’ve been living if it no longer serves you. Through this process of reflection and discovery, you can build a life that feels more grounded, meaningful, and authentically you.
